A group of club members spent a very enjoyable day at the War & Peace Show in Kent last week. There was plenty to see and loads of images to be had, from battle re-enactment scenes with all guns blazing in the main arena, to the wounded being tended in field hospitals in the living history displays.

The gathering of the great and the good from the GNPC came together to figure out one end of a flash lead from another. With two new sets of studio lights bought for the club it was thought prudent that someone knew how to put them up and use them. MarkE lead the way and brought some willing models and a make-up artist with him which helped.
Initially there was general confusion, occassional brilliance and a lot of standing around looking perplexed, but eventually photos were taken and strobes were strobing. The kit represents a significant investment for the club and will allow studio and portrait sessions and workshops to take place for a larger number of the club members.
